Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) has acquired a relevant interest in 81.46% of Norwest Energy NL shares.
Norwest shareholders accepting MinRes' Offer may now be eligible for scrip-for-scrip Capital Gains Tax rollover relief.
The Offer for remaining shareholders is scheduled to close at 7:00pm (Sydney time) on Saturday, 29 April 2023, unless extended or withdrawn.

Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) has announced an off-market takeover bid to acquire the fully paid ordinary shares in Norwest Energy NL (ASX: NWE).
Under the terms of the Offer, accepting Norwest shareholders will receive one (1) fully paid ordinary share in MinRes for every 1,367 of their Norwest Shares held as at the register date.
The implied value of the Offer is $0.06 per Norwest Share.
