ALLKEM LIMITED (ASX: AKE)

Stage 2 of the Olaroz Lithium Facility has achieved first production, producing wet lithium carbonate cake at the filter presses.
The Olaroz Stage 2 development has a capacity of 25,000 tpa of technical grade lithium carbonate.
Once ramp up is completed, the combined capacity of Olaroz Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be approximately 42,500 tpa of lithium carbonate.

Ore Reserve tonnage at Mt Cattlin increased by 34%, extending the mine's life for 4-5 more years (2027-2028) via open pit mining methods.
Board approval for the first cutback of the open pit will result in continued spodumene production until 2026.
An underground Feasibility Study is expected by Q1 CY24, which may unlock greater orebody extension potential and prolong the mine's life.

New MRE of 12.8 Mt @ 1.3% Li2O and 179ppm Ta2O5 reflects higher lithium grade and supports upcoming Reserve update and life of mine extension review.

The Olaroz Lithium Facility achieved record production of 4,253 tonnes of lithium carbonate which was up 17% on the previous corresponding period.
Lithium carbonate sales were 3,131 tonnes, generating record quarterly revenue of ~US$151 million with a gross cash margin of 90%.
The weighted average price for third party sales of lithium carbonate products in Q3 FY23 is expected to be in line with Q2 FY23.
