Exploration drilling funded by OZ Minerals under the Strategic Alliance has found encouraging copper, critical minerals, and uranium mineralization at Johnson Dam prospect.
Appreciable amounts of copper, cobalt, rare earth elements, and uranium were identified in several drillholes.
Johnson Dam prospect is in proximity to the Kalkaroo deposit and has over 3 km of unexplored strike, making it an attractive location for exploration.

Three drillholes at the Deep Well prospect returned the highest grades of copper and critical minerals mineralisation ever discovered at the site.
Drilling targeted a conceptual geological target with coincident geophysical anomalies that had not been the focus of previous drilling.
Potentially part of a large copper and critical minerals mineralised system that could extend for over 4 km.

Mutooroo Project Area (MPA) 2023 exploration drilling program has commenced with two drilling rigs.
King Dam copper prospect is being drilled for the first time in almost 5 decades to follow up on the discovery of copper mineralisation by Seltrust Mining in 1976.
Many promising prospects will be drilled in the coming months with the objective of discovering copper-cobalt-gold mineralisation that could supplement existing Mutooroo JORC mineral resources.

Planned activities under the OZ Minerals Strategic Alliance exploration drilling and Kalkaroo PFS update Study Program ( Study Program ) are being implemented in accordance with the Approved Transaction.
A 69 day extension to the Study Program (and Kalkaroo Option exercise period) has been agreed due to unavoidable force majeure event delays in commencement of work programs.
OZ Minerals is continuing with execution of its work programs and associated activities on an undiminished business as usual basis, notwithstanding the BHP Group Limited scheme of arrangement
