ELEMENT 25 LIMITED (ASX: E25)

Global automaker Stellantis has completed its first US$15 million investment in Element 25, a company that is developing a battery-grade high purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) facility in the USA.
As per the agreement, Stellantis commits to buying 45kt of HPMSM over five years, with further funding of US$15M structured as a pre-payment.
Element 25 has also secured an agreement to supply HPMSM to General Motors' USA Ultium Battery Plants, which includes a US$85M loan facility, bringing Element 25 project commitments to a total of US$115M.

Element 25 and General Motors have signed an agreement for E25 to supply up to 32,500 metric tons of battery-grade manganese sulfate annually to support GM's EV production in North America.
GM will provide E25 with an $85 million loan to fund the construction of a manganese sulfate production facility in Louisiana, which will process manganese from E25's mine in Western Australia.
This facility will be the first of its kind in the U.S. and is aimed at creating a resilient and sustainable North American EV supply chain.

The study confirms the project's technical and economic viability and highlights its lower environmental impact compared to incumbent producers to supply the growing electric vehicle market in the US.
The project benefits from its location, with excellent infrastructure, a skilled local workforce, low-cost energy, and proximity to markets for repurposing by-product industrial materials for circular resource use.
