Central Petroleum Limited (CTP) has completed the Peak Helium farmout agreement on 31 March 2023 and received notification of completion under Peak Helium's farmout agreement with Santos.
Post-completion, resultant participating interests in tenements have been adjusted for Central, Peak, and Santos, with two new sub-salt exploration wells to be funded by Peak Helium.
Central CEO and MD, Leon Devaney, confirms a 3-well sub-salt exploration program targeting the commencement of drilling towards the end of 2023 or early 2024, with the company's Amadeus Basin prospects well-positioned for commercial development due to low CO2 content.
