Zetron, a wholly owned subsidiary of Codan Limited (ASX:CDA) has acquired 100% of the shares of GeoConex LLC.
Consideration consists of an upfront cash payment of $ 6.0 million and three equal deferred payments aggregating to a total of a further $ 2.4 million over the next three years, plus the possibility of additional earn out payments of up to a further $ 14.3 million if significant growth targets are achieved over the next 3 years.
The acquisition is consistent with Codan’s inorganic growth strategy to acquire technology and capability through bolt-on acquisitions that will accelerate growth in its core Communications segment.

Codan Limited reported unaudited revenue of $212 million in the half year ended 31 December 2022.
Minelab's unaudited revenue was slightly below the guided range at $74 million but still expected to deliver a segment profit margin of 30%.
Communications unaudited revenue exceeded expectations and the segment profit margin will improve to 25%.
