Pre-feasibility study shows a Kimberley-based FLNG facility as a feasible option to commercialize Buru Energy's Rafael gas and condensate resource with over one TCF of gas and over 20 million barrels of condensate.
Continued work with Transborders Energy and other partners to progress commercial discussions, refine costs, and explore alternative commercialization pathways such as local LNG production and gas conversion to methanol, ammonia, and urea.
Rafael appraisal program ongoing with 3D seismic survey set for the second half of this year and appraisal drilling planned for 2024 to accelerate project development.

Origin Energy Limited (Origin Energy) is assigning its interests in its joint venture exploration permits in the Canning Basin to a wholly owned subsidiary of Buru Energy Limited (Buru).
Origin will provide up to $4 million for the Rafael 3D seismic survey planned to be acquired in 2023.
Buru resumes its position as the dominant net acreage holder and operator in the Canning Basin, with ownership of 22,500 sq kms of permits.

Buru Energy Limited (Buru) and Energy Resources Limited (EnRes) have been successful in their application for two highly prospective petroleum exploration areas in the Northern Carnarvon Basin and the Merlinleigh Sub-basin.
The areas were part of the WA Government Petroleum Acreage Release 2 of 2022, and have been offered to the joint venture of EnRes as Operator (75%) and Buru (25%).
The grant of the permits is subject to completion of Native Title agreements.

Operations at the Ungani Production Facility (UPF) were suspended and personnel evacuated from the field due to flooding.
The UPF and access road sustained minor flooding and no damage to plant or equipment.
The oil transportation road route to the export facility at Wyndham Port is cut off due to widespread damage to roads and infrastructure.

Ungani oil production and operations have been affected by ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie.
Road closures have meant oil transport operations have been suspended, resulting in suspension of operations at the Ungani Production Facility.
Buru is closely monitoring the impact of the weather system on regional infrastructure and will provide an update on the restart of production once the situation is able to be fully assessed.
