BESRA GOLD INC. (ASX: BEZ)

Besra Gold Inc has received approval for its Environmental Impact Assessment from the Natural Resources and Environment Board Sarawak for its Jugan Project in the Bau Gold Field corridor.
The approved EIA will be lodged with the Land & Survey Department for commencement of mining activities within its designated area.
Besra is currently engaging civil engineering and fabrication contractors to meet the December 2023 schedule for the operation of its test/pilot plant processing facility and associated mine pit.

Besra has signed a major gold pre-purchase and offtake funding facility term sheet worth up to US$300m with Quantum Metal Recovery Inc.
The facility will provide Besra with up to US$300m deposit and fund production at Bau, as well as the appraisal of other deposits within the Bau goldfield corridor.
Upon successful drawdown under the Facility, Besra will update previous feasibility studies and commence commercial-scale production within 12-18 months.
